| Reverse description | A wreath composed of maple leaves and branches, tied at the base with a ribbon bow, frames the central inscription in the field. At the apex of the wreath sits a St. Edward's Crown in high relief. The denomination ONE DOLLAR and country name CANADA are inscribed in three lines at the centre of the field, with the date 1911 positioned below, separated by a small ornamental dash. The reverse design, engraved by W.J. Blakemore, is entirely rendered in Latin script with no additional pictorial elements beyond the wreath and crown. A uniform toothed border encircles the design. |
