| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau centrally positioned within the field, depicting a heraldic shield surmounted by a traditional outrigger canoe with a paddler, flanked by a sea deity holding a trident alongside a mermaid figure, with floral and marine ornamental elements bordering the shield.
