Descripción del anverso Two allegorical figures seated at left and right. The one on the left holds a scroll and spear, with a shield by her side and an owl and books at her feet. The one on the right holds a spear raising a Phrygian cap on the end and the American crest at her feet. In the center, an eagle with outstretched wings holding the American crest in one paw, on the left a sailing boat and on the right a building. The ONE in red is an overprint intended to protect against counterfeiting.
