| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of Palau set within a decorative shield at the centre of the heart-shaped flan, featuring a traditional scene with figures, a frigate bird above, and ornate border detailing. The curved legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper portion of the field, following the heart contour.
