Tuvalu has long operated as a licensing partner for commemorative programs with little connection to its own history, and this issue is squarely in that category. Kim Yuna won the ladies' figure skating gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics with a world-record score of 228.56 points, becoming the first South Korean to win an Olympic figure skating medal of any color.
