| Reverse description | The reverse features a vivid full-colour applied design divided into two zones. The right portion, set against a red background, depicts a plump, cheerful pig surrounded by blooming sunflowers in yellow and green, evoking traditional Chinese New Year imagery. The upper portion of the coloured panel bears the Chinese character 豬 (pig) accompanied by the legend YEAR OF THE PIG in arc form. The left zone, rendered in silver relief, lists the previous Year of the Pig cycle years — 1995, 1983, 1971, 1959, and 1947 — alongside horizontal bar elements, with 2007 prominently displayed at the upper left. The word SUCCESSFUL appears in bold raised lettering along the lower field, flanked by two small red star ornaments, with the fineness and weight notation Ag .999 1oz inscribed below. |

| Additional information |
Niue has operated as a prolific bullion and collector coin licensing hub since the 1990s, leasing its issuing authority to foreign mints and distributors — the New Zealand-dependent territory itself has a population of roughly 1,600. This "Year of the Pig" dollar is one of dozens of themed issues produced under that arrangement, struck for the 2007 lunar calendar cycle and sold almost exclusively to collectors outside the Pacific.
The pig is the twelfth and final sign of the Chinese zodiac cycle, making 2007 the last year before the sequence reset with the Rat in 2008.
