Obverse lettering 1 DOLLAR TUVALU 2020 • QUEEN ELIZABETH II •
Reverse description The reverse, engraved by Natasha Muhl, presents an intricately detailed field densely populated with stylised mice rendered in a decorative folk-art idiom, their bodies filled with swirling scroll-work and floral motifs in the Chinese papercut tradition. The figures are arranged in a continuous frieze encircling the central rotating sculptural insert, which displays the golden mouse-head face with black enamel eyes and whiskers on this side. The Perth Mint 'P' mintmark appears at the upper centre of the field. The inscription '1oz 9999 SILVER' is engraved vertically along the left inner margin. The entire surface is treated with an antique finish, accentuating the sculptural relief of the mouse figures against the brushed background.
