| Reverse description | The central field features a full-color depiction of a rearing chestnut horse in dynamic motion, rendered in an East Asian brush-painting style atop an open scroll or manuscript. Several traditional Chinese calligraphy brushes and an ink stone with a dragon motif are arranged across the composition. To the right of the horse, the Chinese character for horse (馬) is prominently displayed in black ink, with a vertical red inscription below reading the Chinese characters for the Year of the Horse and Wisdom (甲午年智慧). The inscription WISDOM arcs across the upper border within a horseshoe-shaped decorative frame, while 2014 YEAR OF THE HORSE curves along the lower border.
