| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the fourth portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, set within a raised inner circle. The queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem, with curled hair and a pearl earring visible. Below the truncation appear the engraver's initials IRB alongside the mint mark 'mw' and the fineness mark 'Ag 925'.
