| 背面描述 | The reverse is divided into two distinct scenic registers above a centrally placed dome-shaped transparent inlay capsule containing loose pink pearls. To the upper left, a finely engraved seahorse is depicted amid stylised sea grass, evoking Vietnam's coastal marine environment. To the upper right, a multi-tiered pagoda atop a rocky mountain range alludes to Vietnam's cultural and geographic landscape. The legend VIETNAM and PINK PEARL appear as horizontal inscriptions across the mid-field, while the arc legend TREASURES OF MOTHER NATURE runs along the lower rim. The designer's initials FR appear to the right of the inlay capsule. |

This piece belongs to a wave of Pacific-issued collector silver that flooded the market in the late 2000s and early 2010s, produced almost entirely for the European and Asian novelty coin trade rather than any domestic Fijian circulation. Fiji's nominal sovereignty made it a convenient issuing authority — the Reserve Bank of Fiji licensed these designs to foreign minting operations while retaining no meaningful connection to production or distribution.
The pink pearl insert references Fiji's cultured pearl industry, which expanded significantly after Japanese Akoya operations declined in the 1990s.
