Obverse lettering QUEEN ELIZABETH II IRB 1 DOLLAR TUVALU 2012
Reverse description A jubilant Soviet soldier, wearing a greatcoat and a cap adorned with a small red star rendered in colour, reaches upward to inscribe the Cyrillic word Победа! (Victory!) in bold cursive script across the textured stone wall of the Reichstag building. To the left, a large red banner is depicted in applied colour, evoking the Soviet flag raised over Berlin in May 1945; to the right, a diagonal St. George ribbon in its traditional orange and black colours is similarly colourised. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears at lower left, and the legend 1 OZ 999 SILVER is inscribed along the upper border.
