Reverse description A faithful rendition of William Wyon's celebrated 1839 Una and the Lion design, depicting a crowned and robed Queen Victoria as Una, standing beside and resting her left hand upon the mane of a majestic lion walking to the left. Una holds a sceptre in her right hand and is dressed in flowing classical robes. The legend DIEU ET MON DROIT arcs around the upper field, with the silver purity mark Ag.999.1oz positioned to the right of the central group, and the Roman date MMXIX and denomination ONE DOLLAR inscribed below. A beaded border frames the entire composition, and the initials LP appear near the base, attributing the design to Leonard Charles Wyon's engraving tradition.
