Beschrijving keerzijde Colorized depiction of the four main characters from the Czech comic strip Čtyřlístek by Jaroslav Němeček: the dog Fifinka, the bear Bobík, the rabbit Pinďa, and the wolf Myšpulín, shown in a wintry forest scene discovering and sharing a large cauldron overflowing with gold coins. A luminous orb floats above the scene, and a shovel and pickaxe are visible in the field, alluding to the treasure-hunting theme. The title ČTYŘLÍSTEK is inscribed in stylized lettering at the top, and the copyright legend © JAROSLAV NĚMEČEK appears along the lower right rim.

Aanvullende informatie

Cook Islands has issued commemorative dollars under licensing arrangements since the 1970s, and by 2013 the program had expanded to dozens of themed series annually — most produced by foreign mints with minimal connection to the islands themselves. This "Treasure" issue falls squarely in that commercial collector market, where silver-plated copper-nickel was a deliberate cost-reduction choice to hit a lower retail price point without abandoning the visual appeal of a silver finish.
