Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a diadem and draped bust, as executed by Arnold Machin. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed along the left arc of the field, while D·G·REGINA arcs along the right, both within a beaded inner border. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field, characteristic of the Royal Canadian Mint's collector coinage of this era.
