The Perth Mint's licensing agreement with 20th Century Studios has produced a string of pop-culture bullion issues, and this Simpsons family dollar is among the more commercially successful. Struck in .9999 fine silver — a purity step above the standard .999 used by most sovereign mints — it was produced for the collector and gift market rather than circulation, making uncirculated examples the norm rather than the exception.
KM#597 is one of several releases in the ongoing Simpsons series that began in 2019, each limited in mintage and sold directly through Perth Mint retail channels.
