| Additional information |
The "Mystic Nativity" is one of Sandro Botticelli's final known works, painted around 1500–1501 and now held at the National Gallery in London. It is the only signed painting by Botticelli known to exist. The inscription he added connects the composition to the Book of Revelation and the political turmoil of Florence under Savonarola's influence — an unusual theological urgency for a painter better known for secular allegory.
The "15/15" designation indicates this is the final piece in a fifteen-coin series, each reproducing a different work of devotional art. Complete sets in original packaging carry a meaningful premium over individual examples.
