Reverse description Central device depicts a detailed relief rendering of the RMS Titanic underway at sea, her four funnels emitting stylised smoke trails, with a large iceberg looming to the port side and a smaller ice floe visible to starboard. The scene is set against a darkened field with gold-plated highlights accentuating the ship's hull and superstructure. A small colour-printed White Star Line pennant in red with a white star appears below the ship in the lower central field. The arced legend ICEBERG COLLISION 11.40 PM 14 APRIL 1912 runs along the upper periphery, while RMS TITANIC is inscribed in a recessed cartouche at the lower centre, and CENTENARY arcs along the bottom border.
