| 正面铭文 | QUEEN ELIZABETH II IRB 1oz 999 SILVER 2013 TUVALU 1 DOLLAR |
| 背面描述 | A highly detailed scene depicting the schooner Demeter under full sail, approaching the dramatic clifftop ruins of Whitby Abbey as referenced in Bram Stoker's Dracula. A large full moon dominates the background, casting an eerie light across the composition, while a swarm of vampire bats encircles the vessel in flight. The title legend DRACULA arcs along the upper periphery, with the subtitle THE DEMETER inscribed below, framing the central maritime and gothic horror scene. |

The Demeter was a German sailing barque that ran aground at Whitby, England in August 1887 — or rather, that is the fictional vessel Bram Stoker embedded into Dracula two years before the novel's 1897 publication, drawing directly on the real wreck of the Russian schooner Dmitry at the same location. Stoker, vacationing in Whitby at the time, lifted details almost verbatim from local newspaper accounts. Tuvalu has issued extensively in this horror and mythology space, leveraging its Commonwealth mint agreements to produce legal-tender collector silver with no meaningful domestic circulation.
