| 正面描述 | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the engraver's initials IRB visible below the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II curves along the upper left rim and NIUE ISLAND along the upper right rim, both separated by a dotted border. The denomination 1 DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower field, flanked by the fineness mark Ag999 to the left and the date 2016 to the right. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a polished field, framed by a beaded inner border. |

Siennica is a small town in Masovian Voivodeship, east of Warsaw, unremarkable to most — which is precisely the point. This coin belongs to a sprawling Polish topographic series issued through Niue, wherein individual streets, squares, and rural roads across Poland are commemorated on legal-tender silver. The arrangement is a common modern minting convention: a Pacific microstate lends its sovereignty to a foreign collector program with no pretense of domestic circulation.
Niue has hosted dozens of such contracted series since the early 2000s, a revenue mechanism for a territory with a population under 2,000.
