Reverse description Central depiction of the colossal chryselephantine Statue of Zeus at Olympia, seated frontally upon an ornate throne and set within a columned temple portico rendered in fine relief. The god Zeus is shown bare-chested, draped from the waist, holding a sceptre surmounted by an eagle in his left hand and a small figure of Nike in his right, his head crowned. The legend SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD arcs along the upper periphery, separated by dots, while STATUE OF ZEUS AT OLYMPIA curves along the lower periphery; the denomination 1$ appears in the lower central field beneath the temple entrance.
