The right portion of the field is dominated by a detailed allegorical composition referencing the Hanseatic League: a medieval cog sailing vessel occupies the lower right, behind which rises a map of the Baltic Sea region with city names including Stockholm, Hamburg, and Braunschweig. Two circular medallions to the right display a trident and the caduceus of Mercury respectively, symbols of maritime trade and commerce. The bold legend HANSA arches across the upper field, and a beaded border frames the entire design.
