| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped bust effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupying the central field of the coin, set against the natural Widmanstätten pattern of the Seymchan meteorite iron substrate. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left, NIUE along the upper periphery, and ONE DOLLAR along the right. The date 2021 appears in the lower field, and the engraver's initials IRB are incuse below the truncation of the bust. A small fragment of Seymchan meteorite is embedded in the lower left field. |
