1 Dollar - Elizabeth II Seismosaurus

Seismosaurus — later reclassified as a junior synonym of Diplodocus following a 2004 reassessment of the original New Mexico material — was one of the longest dinosaurs ever described, with early length estimates exceeding 50 meters before being revised sharply downward. Tuvalu issued a series of dinosaur dollars in this period largely as collectible revenue, a common revenue stream for Pacific microstates whose coin programs are aimed squarely at the international collector market rather than domestic circulation.
