Reverse description A fully armoured samurai warrior is depicted in a dynamic combat stance at centre, rendered in vivid polychrome colour applied to the struck silver surface. The figure wears traditional yoroi armour with a horned kabuto helmet and wields a drawn katana in both hands, poised mid-stride. The left half of the field is coloured with a deep black night sky, while the right half transitions to a finely engraved silver landscape featuring a wind-swept pine tree and a full moon above stylised clouds. The inscription 'SAMURAI' appears in bold block lettering on a horizontal banner across the lower centre of the design, with the engraver's initials 'WR' incuse in the lower right field.
