Obverse description Second effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin, depicting a right-facing draped bust with the hair elaborately styled and adorned with a tiara crown. The legend BERMUDA is inscribed along the left periphery and ELIZABETH II along the right periphery in raised Latin lettering. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a polished proof field, characteristic of Machin's refined sculptural style as adopted for Commonwealth coinage from 1966 onward.
