Obverse description The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted as a right-facing diademed bust with the engraver's initials 'IRB' below the truncation, set within a raised circular cartouche at the center of the quatrefoil-shaped flan. The circular legend around the effigy reads 'ELIZABETH II · NIUE 2018 · ONE DOLLAR' above and '· 1OZ 999 SILVER ·' below. The four lobes of the distinctive floral flan are adorned with deeply struck emblems of the United Kingdom in high relief: the Tudor rose at the top lobe, the Scottish thistle at the right lobe, the Irish shamrock at the left lobe, and a floral spray at the bottom lobe, all set against a mirrored proof field. The contrasting matte and polished surfaces lend the design an elegant, sculptural quality.

Reverse description The reverse presents conjoined portrait busts of HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle facing left, rendered in fine relief and enhanced with selective color application depicting the stained-glass windows of St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, visible between the couple. Below the portraits, a detailed colored architectural view of St. George's Chapel is inscribed with the date '19TH MAY 2018'. The four lobes of the quatrefoil flan carry the intertwined monograms 'H' and 'M' on decorative ribbon scrolls at left and right, while the Royal coat of arms appears in the upper lobe. The surrounding legend reads 'HRH PRINCE HENRY OF WALES & MS MEGHAN MARKLE' at the top and 'THE ROYAL WEDDING' across the lower portion of the design.
