| Reverse description | Colorized portrait bust of Sir Robert Falcon Scott facing three-quarters to the right, depicted in polar expedition attire including a light-colored anorak with a fur-trimmed hood, a dark red scarf, and a rope harness. In the background, rendered in monochrome, a sailing vessel and a panorama of Antarctic ice-covered hills are visible across a frozen landscape. The legend ROBERT FALCON SCOTT arcs along the upper field, with his birth and death years 1868-1912 following to the right, framed by a finely reeded border. |

| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issued this piece as part of a broader commemorative licensing arrangement — not as a circulating currency. Robert Falcon Scott reached the South Pole on January 17, 1912, only to find Roald Amundsen's tent already there. He and his four companions died on the return journey, roughly 11 miles short of a supply depot.
