Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed naturalistic depiction of a rabbit in left-facing profile, seated amidst stylised botanical sprigs and flowering plants that frame the composition on both sides. The design, engraved by Bronwyn Scott, captures the animal's fur texture and alert posture with considerable sculptural depth. In the upper left field, the Chinese character '兔' (Rabbit) is prominently displayed in a bold, decorative style, accompanied by the bilingual legend 'YEAR OF THE RABBIT' rendered in Latin script to its right. The engraver's initials 'BS' appear discretely in the lower central field.
