| Obverse description | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, a right-facing draped and crowned bust by Raphael David Maklouf, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace with a drop earring, with fine detail in the hair and fabric.
