Aanvullende informatie

The Platinum Jubilee marked Elizabeth II's 70th year on the throne — the longest reign in British recorded history, surpassing even Victoria's 63 years. The Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory, issued this piece as one of dozens of Commonwealth and associated-territory strikes commemorating the occasion. Elizabeth died in September 2022, roughly four months after the jubilee celebrations concluded, making this one of the final commemorative issues produced during her actual lifetime rather than posthumously.
