Behind the sculpture, a colorized panoramic background depicts a modern civic building to the left and an oil pump jack (nodding donkey) amid a winter landscape to the right. The city name НИЖНЕВАРТОВСК (Nizhnevartovsk) is inscribed in Cyrillic lettering below the central motif, and the colored coat of arms of Nizhnevartovsk appears at the bottom of the field. The legend ЮГРА (Yugra) is inscribed in Cyrillic at the top of the inner field, and the fineness mark Ag 925 appears in the lower right of the inner field.
