| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse depicts the iconic Dancing House (Tančící dům), the deconstructivist landmark completed in Prague in 1996 by architects Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry, rendered in intricate high relief occupying the majority of the field. The building's two asymmetrical towers — one with a curved, fluid glass-and-steel façade and the other a rounded, windowed structure crowned with a sculptural metal canopy — are meticulously detailed. To the lower left, the historic coat of arms of Prague's New Town (Nové Město) is depicted, showing a fortified gate with towers and a lion passant. The Latin legend NOVA CIVITAS PRAGENSIS (New Prague City) curves along the upper left portion of the field in the same bold decorative lettering used on the obverse. The proof surfaces combine frosted relief with mirror-polished fields to dramatic sculptural effect. |
