Cook Islands has issued commemorative dollars under New Zealand's currency arrangements since the 1970s, frequently licensing classic American designs for collector pieces — a practice that sits in a long tradition of Pacific island territories monetizing numismatic nostalgia. This 2021 piece pairs two of the most historically loaded American coin types: the Morgan, designed by George T.
