| Aanvullende informatie |
Tokelau has no mint of its own and issues coins entirely as a licensing and revenue arrangement, with production contracted to the New Zealand Mint. The "Madonna of the Yarnwinder" attributed here to Leonardo da Vinci exists in two principal versions — the Buccleuch and the Lansdowne — neither of which has an undisputed attribution to Leonardo's own hand rather than his workshop. At 0.0622 g, this is among the smallest gold coin formats produced commercially, a tenth-sovereign-scale piece where the gold content is almost incidental to the collectible premise.
