| 背面描述 | Central effigy of King Edward V depicted as a young boy in regal attire, wearing an ermine-trimmed mantle and a brimmed cap adorned with a feathered plume, and holding a sceptre in his right hand. The portrait is rendered in moderate relief against a plain field, capturing the youthful features of the ill-fated Plantagenet prince. The curved legend HISTORY OF THE ROYAL FAMILY - EDWARD V arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2009 inscribed to the lower left of the portrait within the field. |

Part of a long-running Cook Islands miniature gold series exploiting the islands' licensing arrangements to produce collector pieces with minimal bullion content. Edward V is one of only two English kings never to have had a coin struck in his own name during his reign — he disappeared into the Tower of London in 1483, almost certainly murdered on Richard III's orders, before any coinage could be authorized.
