Aanvullende informatie

The Pobjoy Mint, operating as a private striking facility on behalf of various island territories, produced this piece for the Isle of Man — one of the few jurisdictions that has issued Kennedy commemoratives with any regularity outside the United States. Kennedy's 40th assassination anniversary in 2003 prompted a wave of such issues from minor minting authorities worldwide, most of them copper-nickel circulation-format pieces aimed squarely at the collector market rather than actual monetary use.
