Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of a jaguar (Panthera onca) standing in three-quarter view atop a fallen log, its spotted coat rendered with naturalistic relief. A small tropical plant is visible to the right of the animal, suggesting a jungle habitat. The curved legend ENDANGERED WILDLIFE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR appears in the lower field below the central device. The composition emphasises the conservation theme of the Endangered Wildlife series.
