The figure is shown wearing an ornate imperial crown and richly embroidered liturgical mantle, the right hand raised in blessing and the left hand holding a globus cruciger. A radiant golden halo of gilded sunrays emanates from behind the figure, contrasting with the silver relief of the statue. The composition is framed by an arched architectural surround adorned with baroque acanthus scrollwork at the base, set against a mirror-polished black field.
