Issued under license from Warner Bros. to coincide with the franchise's peak commercial momentum following the third film, this is one of several Australian legal tender coins produced by the Perth Mint targeting the collectibles market rather than circulation. KM#149 is the base copper-nickel variant; the series also ran in silver proof, which is where most collector attention sits. The copper-nickel pieces were sold in blister packs at retail price points low enough that survival rates are high and undamaged examples are not difficult to find.
