| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies a central circular medallion within the rectangular field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left and TOKELAU 2022 along the upper right of the medallion. Below the portrait, the Tokelau coat of arms — depicting a traditional ulo (wooden bowl) surmounted by a cross — is rendered in relief, accompanied by the motto scroll TOKELAU MO TE ATUA. Beneath the medallion, the denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed in large raised lettering, flanked to the left by a heart-shaped paw print motif, with the fineness statement 1/500 OZ FINE GOLD 999/1000 appearing along the lower margin.
