Reverse description The reverse presents a color-printed reproduction of Goya's celebrated painting 'La maja vestida' (The Clothed Maja, c. 1800–1807) in the upper left portion of the field, depicting a reclining young woman dressed in a white and gold costume against a dark background. To the right, a finely modeled raised relief portrait of Francisco Goya in left-facing profile dominates the lower right of the field, shown wearing a broad-brimmed top hat and period coat. The artist's facsimile signature 'Goya' is rendered in script relief across the lower center, flanked by the inscriptions 'FRANCISCO' to the left and '1746-1828' denoting his birth and death years below. The mintmaster's mark appears at the lower right.
