Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Raphael David Maklouf, depicting the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, drop earrings, and a pearl necklace, with elaborately coiffed hair. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a darkened mirror field, framed by a beaded inner border. Aanvullende informatie

Niue has issued silver dollars under licensing arrangements with the New Zealand Mint since the 1990s, functioning almost entirely as a bullion and collector vehicle — these pieces rarely if ever enter circulation on the island, whose population hovers around 1,600. The "Fortius" designation places this within a themed release series rather than a standalone commemorative, a structure the New Zealand Mint has used repeatedly to generate collector sets across multiple years.

KM# 137 has thin documentation in standard references; attribution relies primarily on the New Zealand Mint's own production records.
