Obverse description Fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, after Ian Rank-Broadley, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper field and NIUE ISLAND along the right, separated by a beaded border from the outer rim. The fineness mark Ag 999 appears to the lower left of the effigy, flanked by the engraver's initials IRB and the mint mark mw below the truncation.
