Reverse description The reverse depicts two representations of the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) set against a deeply mirrored black field: a full-body portrait of a standing adult lynx rendered in vivid polychrome colour print at left, and a large finely engraved silver relief close-up of a lynx head at lower right. Pine branches with needle clusters and a cone are engraved in relief across the upper field. The Czech name RYS OSTROVID arcs along the left rim and the scientific name LYNX LYNX descends along the right rim, both in raised Latin letters.
