| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and with hair styled in an upswept coiffure, occupying the upper left portion of the field. To the lower left, the inscription reads '2016 / ELIZABETH II · / NIUE ISLAND / 1 DOLLAR' in bold block lettering. The right half of the field features a decorative geometric pattern rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof background, evoking an architectural or textile motif. The Czech Mint mark (CM) and a small heart privy mark appear at the bottom centre of the field. |

| Reverse description | High-relief portrait bust of Alžběta Juliana Žerotínová (Elizabeth Juliana of Žerotín) facing three-quarters to the left, depicted in a Baroque style with flowing wavy hair adorned with an elaborate headdress of braided and feathered ornamentation. The finely detailed face and hair occupy the majority of the field against a deeply mirrored proof background. The legend arching around the left and lower periphery reads '· (1630) · 1669 ALŽBĚTA Z OPPERSDORFU JULIANA ŽEROTÍNOVÁ', giving her birth year in parentheses (circa 1630) and death year 1669, along with her full Czech-language name referencing both her birth family of Oppersdorf and her married name Žerotínová. |

| Additional information |
Niue has operated as a licensed issuer for collector coinage since the 1990s, effectively functioning as a mint-for-hire under New Zealand's currency umbrella. This piece belongs to a series commemorating Elizabeth Juliana of Žerotín, a 17th-century Moravian noblewoman and prominent figure in the Bohemian Brethren's exile community following the Battle of White Mountain in 1620 — a defeat that scattered Czech Protestant nobility across Protestant Europe and effectively ended independent Bohemian political life for three centuries.
The Žerotín family connection to that diaspora makes her an unusual subject for Pacific numismatic output.
