Obverse description Uncrowned, draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, as sculpted by Susanna Blunt, occupying the central field of the hendecagonal flan. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery, while D•G•REGINA continues along the upper right, both rendered in raised Latin characters. A fine denticular border runs along the inner edge of all eleven sides. The Royal Canadian Mint's security mark appears below the truncation of the bust.
