Comments

The Bank of British Virgin Islands has issued a long series of commemorative polymer dollars targeting the collector market rather than circulation, and this note — marking the twentieth anniversary of Senna's death at Imola on 1 May 1994 — belongs firmly to that category. Whether a Caribbean overseas territory has any organic connection to a Brazilian racing driver is a question the issuer left unanswered.

Printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company, which handles much of the BVI commemorative output.
