Reverse description Central design depicts the 1937 coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother), showing the Archbishop of Canterbury placing the Crown of St. Edward upon her bowed head, both figures rendered in fine relief within a beaded inner circle. The outer legend QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER arcs along the upper rim, with THE CORONATION OF THE QUEEN MOTHER inscribed on a secondary arc within the beaded border.
