Reverse description A vivid full-color depiction of a Clown Triggerfish (Balistoides conspicillum) rendered in multicolor enamel, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The fish is portrayed in rich naturalistic detail against an underwater coral reef scene, with blue water, red coral formations, and green algae in the background. A small uncolored circular cartouche in the upper right of the field bears the denomination numeral 1 and the inscriptions 1 OZ 999 SILVER and 1 · DOLLAR · in raised relief. The reverse border is decorated with a continuous geometric triangular pattern lending a decorative frame to the composition.
