Christ is shown frontally, raising his right hand in blessing and holding a book in his left, his halo rendered in gilded sunburst rays framing a bearded and long-haired visage. The figure is set within a raised Gothic quatrefoil frame decorated with repeated heraldic cross motifs in the background field, itself divided between frosted silver and blackened mirror-polished sectors.
